PROGRAM “YOUNG AMBASSADORS OF DIVERSITY”
We create a space for the formation of a new generation of strong, motivated activists capable of defending the rights of high-risk groups, creating sustainable initiatives, and shaping the future of the country.
Young people in Ukraine are not only those who need solutions, but also those who are capable of shaping them.
Despite their growing activism, young people still do not always have access to decision-making processes in communities, education, or policy-making. This limits their opportunities to influence and reduces their sense of involvement in the country’s recovery. Since 2019, the Young Diversity Ambassadors (YDA) program has been supporting active young people — those who want to implement ideas, initiate change, bring others together, and build communities.
The Young Diversity Ambassadors are a close-knit community of engaged young people who are already an important part of civil society in Ukraine and without whom the country’s post-war reconstruction would be impossible. Since 2019, the YDA program has been helping young people take their first steps in civic activism, implement their ideas, and, perhaps most importantly, find like-minded people and friends from all over the country.
